Unfit for public consumption this weekend (sick), I decided that testing the limits of prednisone while watching Bathurst 12 Hour would help pass the time.
Smooth. Delicious. Couldn’t move from my couch for an hour.
Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin IPA. Tasted no hint of grapefruit. Still mildly hoppy and refreshing. Getting sleepy. May need to consider a 12 step program for the furball.
This concludes my adult libations for the weekend.

Some Hopsecutioner.

Checked out a new brewery today. Had a coffee stout, tripel, and saison.

I also drank a bunch of cheap, US domestic cans that aren’t worth discussing any further.

damn, it appears that there isn’t a distributor in Indiana.

it’s been a while since I’ve had Sake. must correct this soon.

It’s brewed in GA, kind of local. I’d be surprised if they’ve made it up there. I’ve got a pledge brother living up in Bloomington and he laments that Sweetwater 420, another GA beer, hasn’t made it up there yet.

Consumed about one and a half pints of Jager-bombs.
Me thinks whiskey and Redbull next. Don’t worry, it’s only Scottish whiskey.

Tell your pledge brother to road trip to Louisville, Kentucky. The Hopsecutioner is available there.

I drank way too many red bull vodkas in Russia. My heart still hasn’t recovered.

I’d rather tell that motherfucker to just come to ATL to visit me and other friends. Or I can be like you wanna put some miles on the FoST?

I don’t know much about sake, but this is cheap and it tastes alright.

Oh Jagger. The fun we had in college.

I used to consume several a night when I was younger. Now I’m older I just don’t feel the effects of Jager-bombs, Raging Bulls/Heart Attacks (vodka-Redbull) and Jack Flashes (Jack Daniels and Redbull).
Or all the other cocktails we used to try.
Vodka Snake Bites were always a good one. 1/3 vodka, 1/3 cider and a 1/3 lager in a half pint glass and knock it back.
I still do the occasional double whiskey in Guinness.
Ready the glass, whiskey and Guinness
Pour a double whiskey,
Add the Guinness,
Let it settle,
Drink.

Red bull vodkas were like the only thing we ordered, so we had way too many and I have a really high caffeine tolerance.
You need to add some baileys to that cocktail.

Ew, no. Car bombs are not for me.

My beer of choice
A dark, strong, sweet...

I spent all day installing suspended ceilings. Finished my living room, started my entrance. We just put the kids to bed. I’m watching the Habs game from this afternoon on my dvr while drinking one.

But that’s what you do when your younger.
Oh and beer-bongs. Hell we used to do a beer-bong and then indoor olympics.

This one time in college we made a shot with pre-work out powder and everclear, got a little wild that night.

Drinking an oatmeal stout homebrew. Dunno why it loaded sideways

The best nights are the wild unplanned nights.
I thought that when I joined St. John Ambulance before starting up a private ambulance company would be good but no, we partied harder.
We would go on holiday together and party hard, but if anything happened, holiday was put on hold, take care of the casualties, do a hand over to relevant authorities of what happened and medical waste and then get back to it.
16 first aiders, technicians, ambulance staff and a couple of paramedics with 16 medi kits and three minor trauma kits on holiday.

Yazoo Embrace The Funk(The 2nd best sour beer), Titos, Kirkland Light, Root Beer Flavored Whiskey(dangerous), Some tequila from a bar, and many other things. College is a great place.

Terrapin makes a very good beer. Try out some Yazoo if you get a chance.

Saisons are my second favorite behind Sours.

Mmmm, Vernors. Not always easy to find, but one of my favorites, both for mixing and just drinking by itself.

That’s... a lot of Jäger bombs... I haven’t had that much Red Bull in one sitting in probably 10 years. I think my heart would explode if I tried that now.

Some late harvest Merlot (11%), some Viña Borgia (14%) and some Oliver Sangria (11%).
And by some I’m guessing 1/3 to 1/2 bottle of each. I have also had some water as well but it’s not helping as quickly as I need it to.
Suffice to say I am quite beyond driving for the rest of the day and well into tomorrow.
I bid you all adieux.

I just opened a second one, OUPS.....
I have to start buying these by the case. Or maybe not I like strong beer too much to have a big reserve.
This beer is brewed about an hour from me. It’s basically made with ESKA water. http://www.eskawater.com/
The city’s water supply is the same as they use for the bottled water. No one in Amos uses bottled water.
